Test results show that, compared with traditional lamps, the embedded LED wall washer is quite competitive, but it still needs to be improved in terms of efficiency and indicators. The object of this round of testing is 17 embedded LED wall washer lights. The physical properties of these products vary greatly, but they perform similarly in terms of light output and intensity distribution. The light output is basically the same as 42W fluorescent lamp or 35W ceramic metal halide lamp. This round of testing lasted no more than 1800 hours. The measured efficiency of the 17 embedded LED wall washer ranges from 23 to 64 lm / W, with an average efficiency of 42 lm / W. Only three models exceed 52lm / W. Only 9 of them meet the minimum performance requirements of DesignLights Alliance (DLC) qualified products, which is 40lm / W; only 7 lamps meet the current Energy Star spotlight 42lm / W energy efficiency requirements. There are 4 lights whose light output is less than 90% of their publicity. Among them, the light output of the two lamps is only 14% and 65% of the declared value.
